One of the tools to structure learning content and feed the LMS is the Function Matrix.
The Function Matrix structures all learnings for a group or department.
For every function you will see a few categories (i.e. general tasks, basic function related tasks, extended tasks). Every category contains the tasks related to that category, one in each row.
In the adjacent columns you can find all functions within that group or department.
In the crossing of function and task you can mark when the task is a part of the function or not.
Instead of just marking the relevance you can use different letters to indicate whether this task is relevant for all persons within this function or just a few.
In this way the lead can decide who will get this task assigned and who doesn’t.
In this way the lead can take the occurrence of the task versus the number of employees in consideration and determine how many employees get this task assigned.
