4 Steps - TWI

TWI (Training Within the Industry) is as old as Lean and developed in the USA during World War II.The famous WWII posterRosie the riveter

TWI might not be very well known in the Dutch manufacturing industry, but the 4-step model is.
This 4-step model is the basis for the TWI method and so there are many similarities, but there are also differences.

There is a great similarity with the 4-step model (see 'On the Job Training'), but there are also differences:
