How to ensure your Yellow Greens Belts are the most efficient? By knowing how they work and what your role as a sponsor is in all of this.
So this is what you learn in this training.
What is your role as a sponsor(assignment provider) towards the agent (Project Lead), what tools are being used in the project? How can you draft a contract, together, that will provide clarity for both? How do you communicate, and what tools do you use during the project? - OJT On the Job Trainer

- Introduction How do you learn a new skill, moving from unconscious incompetent to unconscious competent.
- Role of the trainer Who was a good trainer for you, and why, what are the competencies of a good OJT trainer.
- 4-step method How adults learn, only telling, only showing, the combination, the 4-steps step by step, memory retention, giving feed back.
- Practice Get to work, obstacles you may encounter, how to get to qualified as an OJT trainer.
- TWI(Training Within the Industry) Instructor
As a TWI Instructor you can apply the 4-step model within the TWI model.
Strict, clear and with a high efficiency and effectiveness.
The training covers two main topics:
- Drafting a Task Breakdown Sheet How do I break up a Task in separate actions (called Important Steps), who together ad up to a completed Task? For every Important Step: what are the Key Points within every Important Step? Per Key Point: what are the Reasons for every Key Point? By unraveling a Task in this way, you will focus on the core of the Task and will you be able to transfer this to your student. It will prevent noise during the transfer and are ensures that the student will learn what is relevant.
- Training of a Task By structuring the training of the Task you wrote down in the Task Breakdown Sheet, you will ensure the maximum transfer. Within the standard 4-step methodology you wil learn a minimum number of iterations that will help you to transfer the skill. Next there are a minimum numbers of iterations that will help the student to learn the skill. Building one small step on to the previous one, every iteration again. This will ensure the student of enough repetitions to ensure retention in the brain.
